57 (Oh Chill)

57 (Oh Chill)

57 (pronounced in Korean as Oh-Chill) for a rock duo from Seoul, composed of guitarist JunHong Yun and drummer Seol Kim. The band was held in 2012 as a trio, and he drew on the famous Biffy Clyro album, which he considered to be the main inspiration. Soon after, after the departure of one of the musicians the formation spread in a duet. In 2014, he moved from his hometown of Jeonju to the capital, Seoul, where they immediately complimented not only the audience but also the critics. The others shouted 57 projects worth watching.

On the evening of 2014, the duo presented their exhausting debut EP, just 57. The garage-inspired, alt-rock form of the release is filled with organic energy and sound, which is better at performing at concerts.

In 2015, 57 participated in two major Korean reviews for bands. The group won the KT & G contest Discovery team, the Hello Rookie reached the finals themselves. The artists went on a wave of successes, and a year later they appear at many important Korean festivals: Jisan Valley Festival, Busan International Rock Festival, Jeju Stepping Stone Festival, and one of the biggest Asian showcases - Zandari Festa.

2016 brought with him a trip to Great Britain, where 57 played at the Liverpool Sound City Festival. It was not the only European concert - the group went on to succeed in a three week class in England. Stopovers on that Manchesters night dream and a day of coffee or a windmill in Brixton, London.

57 are currently working on one long-running release, scheduled for June 2017. To celebrate the market, the group will play a spring tour of South Korea and visit the UK.
