Ingenious Group
Description

Nick have worked in the commercial team at Ingenious Media, focusing on music and live events since 2007. In 2007-2008 we invested over £30m into music copyrights such as The Prodigy, Peter Gabriel, Passenger, Travis, Sia  and many more.
From 2009 to 2016 we moved into Live Events investing over £50m through several VCT Funds.
The VCT fund invested into festivals such as Creamfields, Field Day, Rewind, Love Supreme, Zoo Project, Winterville, Just For Laughs, Liverpool Sound City and many more.

We sold Creamfields to Live Nation for an extremely high multiple and Love Supreme to Universal for a very tidy return.
In 2013 we created an EIS company called Impresario to take majority stakes in successful festivals such as SW4, Boardmasters and used funds to buy out the VCT Shares in Rewind and Field Day.  This company was recently sold for another extremely high multiple to Global
